Fun "Fore" All at the Mule Days Golf Tournament
Pack scrambles aren’t the only kind of scrambled fun that happens during Memorial Day Weekend in Bishop – and in the Mule Days Golf Tournament, everyone can participate in the action. The four-man scramble has several different categories for men and women of all ages, and plenty of prizes to go around.
This year, the event organizers have changed up the rules slightly, giving everyone a chance at winning. There are three different flights, including a women’s, men’s, and mixed category. For the longest drive contest, there now are prizes for men, senior men, super-senior men, women, senior women, and super-senior women. “There are more opportunities for people to win something,” said Ross Corner, one of the event organizers. “There’s cash, prizes, donations from local businesses, great golf gear, and all kinds of really valuable prizes.”
There is no deadline to register for the tournament, and solo golfers are welcome to come as well; they’ll be added to teams the morning of the event.
Tee time is at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 24 at the Bishop Country Club.
