Caltrans: N. See Vee Signal, State Route 270 Reopened

NORTH SEE VEE SIGNAL IS LIVE 

BISHOP— The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces the activation of the signal at North See Vee Lane and U.S. Hwy 395. Please use caution as residents and out of town travelers become aware of this new signal.


 STATE ROUTE 270 (BODIE ROAD) HAS REOPENED 

BODIE— The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has reopened Bodie Road (SR-270) as of 2:30 p.m. today. Ice, snow and debris removal work has been completed to ensure the traveling public’s safety.

Caltrans reminds drivers to carry chains and to be prepared for winter driving conditions. We recommend carrying blankets, water, food, a shovel, gloves, a flashlight, and sand or kitty litter to provide traction in case your vehicle becomes stuck.
