The proceeds from this event will benefit overhead operating costs for United Methodist sponsored community projects in our area. These much-needed local community services include the Soup Kitchen which feeds the hungry; the Shower Ministry which provides hot showers for the homeless; the Friendship Center which provides respite care for people suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia; and Re-Entry and Recovery program, which provides support and housing services to persons in substance abuse recovery and recently released from jail. In addition, 10% of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to support the National Wounded Warrior Center in Mammoth in partnership with Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra.
