Riders in the Sky

America’s favorite cowboys, Riders in the Sky, will be the headlining concert for the 2019 Bishop Mule Days Celebration. As Bishop, California celebrates 50 years of Mule Days, Riders in the Sky will have everyone laughing and reminiscing about the good ol’ days of western music.

Since 1977, Riders in the Sky has been creating beautiful western harmonies and giving sound cowboy advice, such as “always drink upstream from the herd.” Their hits include heartfelt cowboy ballads like, “The Arms of My Love,” and in keeping with their cowboy ways, “Home on the Range,” “Cool Clear Water,” “Carry Me Back to the Lone Prairie,” and of course “Ghost Riders in the Sky,” the group’s namesake. The group’s music stays true to the tradition of cowboy legends Roy Rogers and Gene Autry while capturing the light-hearted side of the western way of life.
