CALTRANS IS HOSTING TWO WORKSHOPS TO DISCUSS THE LEE VINING REHABILITATION PROJECT

Bishop – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 9 has scheduled two workshops for the Lee Vining Rehabilitation Project.  The project will consist of a comprehensive pavement rehabilitation project on US 395, through the town of Lee Vining. The project will be constructed from the junction of State Route 120 West (Yosemite turn off) to Cemetery road.  Caltrans would like your input on improvements that could be incorporated into this project.  Plan on attending one of the following workshops:

Community Workshop #1 - July 24th from 6-8pm at the Lee Vining Community Center, 296 Mattly Avenue

Caltrans will present initial findings from the survey and take further community input on complete streets features that could be incorporated into the project.

Community Workshop #2 – August 8th from 6-8 pm at the Lee Vining Community Center, 296 Mattly Avenue

Caltrans will take additional input and facilitate further prioritization of potential improvements.

If you are not able to attend one of the workshops, offer your input by completing the online survey to help identify which improvements are most important to you.  You will find the survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LeeViningUS395Rehab
