Mammoth Museum: Save the Date

 SOUTHERN MONO HISTORICAL SOCIETY presents JAZZ BY THE CREEK
When: SUNDAY, JULY 8, 2018

The Southern Mono Historical Society will present the 3 rd Annual Jazz by the Creek fundraising event at the Mammoth Museum/Hayden Cabin. Music and food along the creek at one of the most magical locations in Mammoth on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Performances by Tom Rigney & Flambeau, Gator 2 Nation (formerly Gator Beat), Yve Evans Trio and Joe Gray Jr. Ensemble, with special guest Sheridon Stokes.

This year we will have Jazz music for your listening enjoyment, a Fine Food & Wine-Beer Tastings Event as well as optional dining options for purchase at local vendor booths. This year Jazz by the Creek will take place from Noon until 10:00 p.m. in order to fit in all the fun! Bring your dancing shoes!

Since there is no longer a Mammoth Jazz Jubilee, the Mammoth Jazz Weekend coordinated wit “Mammoth Jazz Fest” at The Village at Mammoth on Friday (7/6/18) and Saturday (7/7/18) and “Jazz by the Creek” at the Hayden Cabin on Sunday (7/8/18) has successfully restarted jazz events in Mammoth Lakes.

WHEN: Saturday, June 23, 2018 (6:00 p.m. ‘till dark)
WHERE: 5489 Sherwin Creek Road, Mammoth Lakes
COST: $10.00 at the door
DETAILS: Bring a picnic, blanket or lawn chairs and come on out to join us on the Hayden Cabin lawn for some great music, dancin’ and socializin’. There will be a no host Whiskey Bar (and some other moonshine too!). Please wear appropriate clothing and foot wear to this outdoor venue.
Donations to the museum are always appreciated and we would love to see you become a Southern Mono Historical Society member, too!
