ESA & CNPS: Save the Date

The Eastern Sierra Audubon and California Native Plant Society will be hosting a holiday potluck on Wednesday, December 12th at the White Mountain Research Center (3000 East Line Street in Bishop).  Please bring your own place setting, drinks, and an item to share (main dish, salad, or dessert).  Dinner will begin at 6 pm followed by a presentation at 7 pm.  

Bartshé Miller of the Mono Lake Committee will be giving a presentation titled "Mono Lake and the Saline Lake Sisterhood: Surviving the Anthropocene".  He will explore recent bird research, issues, and protection at Mono Lake with a recent snapshot of sister lakes in the West and around the world.
