Island Adventures: Ornithology Field Work and a Peek at Paradise

Join Nora Livingston as she recounts tales of isolated fieldwork studying charismatic birds on the Farallon Islands and Santa Cruz Island. More than learning what she was studying and why, you will be transported to these unique islands and get a glimpse of the amazing life that dwells off the coast of California. Nora worked as a field biologist studying birds on coastal California islands and in the Eastern Sierra for 7 years before settling down as the Lead Naturalist Guide for the Mono Lake Committee, where she shares her love for all things feathered, furred, and scaled on a daily basis.
