UCCE Master Food Preservers: Fermentation of Foods

The UCCE Master Food Preservers of Inyo and Mono Counties are hosting a workshop to teach people how to ferment food in Mammoth at the Mammoth Community Center. It would be great if you could help us get the word out to the Mammoth Community and the surrounding areas including Bishop by posting the information about our workshop below on Blogging Bishop:

Have you ever wanted to learn how to preserve foods with Fermentation? Come to our workshop and let us teach you how! The UCCE Master Food Preservers of Inyo and Mono Counties will teach you how to ferment kvass, white kimchi, pickles and sourdough starter. You will learn what ingredients are added and you will leave the workshop confident in how your fermented foods have been made using one of the oldest forms of food preservation. Learn tips and tricks and receive recipes and tastings of all that we show you how to make.
