On Nov. 4 the County of Supervisors received a presentation regarding proposed draft ordinance for regulating commercial cannabis activities that could occur in Inyo County, including Zoning, Nuisance Abatement, and Commercial Cannabis Business License ordinances similar presentations for the community have been scheduled and will be given by staff. The schedule is as follows:
4 Community Meetings Scheduled:
- Olancha: Olancha Firehouse - Wed., Nov. 8 (6-8pm)
- Big Pine: Big Pine Town Hall - Tues., Nov. 14 (6-8pm)
- Bishop: Cerro Coso College Conference Room - Wed., Nov. 15 (6-8pm)
- Tecopa: Hurlbutt-Rook Community Center - Fri., Nov. 17 (6-8pm)
Staff will continue to seek input from County Departments and local Agencies and work with the County's Cannabis Regulation Consultant, Hinderliter, de Llamas and Associates to refine the proposed draft ordinances.
A follow-up meeting with the Inyo County Board of Supervisors has been set for the next regular County Supervisors Meeting Tues., Dec. 5 to present updated versions of the proposed draft regulations that reflect considerations gleaned by the Board and outreach efforts.
