Notice To Contractors
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Bishop at the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Bishop, City Hall, 377 West Line Street, Bishop, California, 93514 until three o’clock (3:00) in the afternoon on 29 July 2010, for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, implements and machinery to do and complete all work in a manner satisfactory to the City Engineer, for the following project:
May, Willow and North Third Streets Water Improvements Project
Together with such other incidental items as are necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed and in strict conformity with the contract documents.
At 3:01 in the afternoon on the above date, said proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All proposals shall be made using the forms furnished by the City and shall be enclosed and sealed in an envelope which is addressed to the City Council, Bishop, California, and is clearly labeled:
Bid for May, Willow and North Third Streets Water Improvements Project
Bid books including plans, specifications, bid forms to be used for bidding on this project and other contract documents can be obtained at the City of Bishop City Hall, 377 West Line Street, Bishop,California, 93514 for $100 for each set. This charge shall not be refunded.
This project is located on May Street, Willow Street, and North Third Street. This is a water project consisting of the construction of approximately 3560 linear feet of new water mains, including new water services to adjoining lots, and new fire hydrants. This project includes furnishing of all labor, implements, tools, machinery, materials and all other work required to complete the project.
The estimated range for the construction cost of this project is $450,000 to $550,000.
